Recent Legislation on Divorce after Retirement

As of January 1, 2021, if you get divorced after retirement, you may remove your ex-spouse as a survivor beneficiary on your MOSERS pension benefits and receive an adjusted annuity amount.

2021 COLA

Your annual cost-of-living adjustment, or COLA, is based on the Consumer Price Index (CPI).* You will find the 2021 COLA on our website in mid January.

Former MOSERS Executive Director, John Watson, Dies at Age 60

John Watson, who served as executive director of MOSERS from September 2015 until January 2018, died unexpectedly on Friday, August 28, 2020 in St. Louis.
