COLA
Employed prior to August 28, 1997, you will get an annual COLA in retirement of 4-5% until you reach your COLA cap. After you reach the cap, you will get an annual COLA based on 80% of the percentage increase in the average Consumer
Price Index (CPI).
Employed on or after August 28, 1997, your COLA in retirement will be based on 80% of the percentage increase in the average CPI (0-5%).
