Audit Committee Charter

The Committee's duties include:

• Assists the Board by providing a structured, systematic oversight of MOSERS’ risk management and internal control practices.
• Reviews and makes recommendations to the Board regarding compliance with laws, regulations, policies and standards of ethical conduct; risk management processes; the prevention and detection of fraud; and the controls of the organization as a whole and its individual units.
• The Committee oversees the independent audit of MOSERS’ financial statements.
• The Committee will review and approve the internal audit charter annually.
