Proposed Board Rule Changes
Amendments to Board Rules 2-11 "Former Employees on Layoff Status" and 3-11 "Former Employees on Layoff Status" were adopted by the MOSERS Board of Trustees on June 18, 2020 and shall take effect on July 18, 2020.
The proposed revisions to Board Rules 2-11 and 3-11 address the procedures for determining layoff status and MOSERS coverage while in layoff status.
The new rule provides an alternative method for MOSERS-covered departments to pre-pay required contributions to the system.
You may submit written comments to MOSERS General Counsel regarding these changes at any time prior to July 18, 2020. The Board will consider any comments received and has the authority to take additional action as it deems appropriate regarding these rules.
